Power manager

Please describe functionalities of Power Manager.
Particularly Dynamic Load Balancing as I am often not able to get more than 16A from Zaptec to car.
How do I change “Safety Margin”?

Hey.
You can read about the dynamic load balancing here: https://support.futurehome.no/hc/en-no/articles/16320984783645-Power-Manager-Dynamic-load-balancing
We don’t have the option to change the safety margin now, and it is set to 10%.

Could you try to disable dynamic load balancing and see if it charges faster?

Thanks, nice to know about the 10% margin (I think it was a setting before).
I have started to “speculate” about if my warm water heater (which is not a smart one, just controlled by a FH relay puck and internal thermostat) is treated as if it is consuming power even if internal thermostat is off and this influences on the dynamic load balancing (even using wrong peak power value which is read by the “energy price area” section, this value is about 1 kW to high and I have no idea why, possible to reset peak value?).

If above assumption is correct I would like to remind about the trip curves of modern main fuses which may handle quite some overcurrent for some time (typically 45 seconds for 2 times rated current) so there is plenty of time to reduce EV charger current (or warm water heater if EV charger just went offline).
Because this is the thermal region of the fuse which is approximately independent of characteristic (perhaps except for type Z)
